THE Independent on Sunday has achieved the biggest sales rise of any national broadsheet newspaper in Britain over the last year, according to official figures released by the Audit Bureau of Circulation.
Last month the paper sold 252,105 copies a week, 1.8 per cent more than during February last year. Over the same period, the Observer lost more than 11,000 sales and the Sunday Telegraph more than 24,000. The daily Independent rose to 220,203, an increase of 1.7 per cent.
