Jaguar's new XK8 sports coupe (above), which is being hailed as the spiritual successor to the E-type model, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show yesterday.
Its predecessor was said to have stopped a generation in its tracks when it was launched in the swinging Sixties. However, Jaguar has designed the new model, which will go on sale in October with a pounds 52,000 price tag, to replace the XJS.
