John Martin Scripps, the British fugitive sentenced to hang for murdering and dismembering a man in Singapore, has told his lawyer that he does not want to appeal for clemency, the British High Commission reported.
Scripps, 36, who is also wanted in Thailand and Mexico on suspicion of five more murders, was said to be "eager to get it over and done with". He has been on death row in Changi jail since November and is expected to hang in about a month.
