AN ANGLO-SAXON cross found 30 years ago near Hull is expected to fetch pounds 70,000 at auction. Ronald Wray, 86, saw it as he trudged home with a bale of hay. An expert failed to identify the cross, which was left in a drawer until its worth was realised at a "finds day" at Hull Museum.
