A 35-year-old man was still in hospital yesterday after four men leaving the weekend Gay Pride festival in London were attacked by a gang of youths chanting anti-gay slogans and wielding baseball bats. All four victims needed hospital treatment after the attacks, and the man detained is thought to have suffered a broken cheekbone and severe bruising. His condition is said to be stable.
