Topeka is the search term with the most significant growth over the past week on the morning of April 6.
Searches for the name of the Kansas, USA city skyrocketed when Google changed its name to Topeka as an April Fools Joke. Google's prank referenced the city's recent name change to "Google" in the hope of enticing the internet giant to select them for their ultra-high-speed broadband project trial.
The Polish term for "Easter Greetings", "?yczenia wielkanocne" is in second place on the Google Insights list ahead of "Happy Easter." "Easter" is also trending at number seven.
American singer Erykah Badu caused a stir last week when she stripped naked - in the Dallas location where John F. Kennedy was shot dead - for a music video. Her name is trending in fourth position on Google Insights.
The name of Ricky Martin has also increased in popularity over the past week. After years of speculation, the Puerto Rican pop singer finally revealed that he was homosexual in a March 29 blog post.
Apple's newest gadget, the iPad, is in the charts at number six. The device became available in the USA on April 3, selling 300,000 units on the first day of release.
