The Chinese term for "Vancouver 2010" is the search term with the biggest increase in Google searches over the past week on February 22.

The top rising search queries over the last week have been dominated by Winter Olympic-related terms.

The name of American snowboarder Shaun White is sitting comfortably in second place on the Google Insights chart after the Olympic competitor completed a high-scoring halfpipe run that won him the gold medal at the 2010 Winder Olympics.

The Olympic team sport of curling is in third place ahead of searches for American golfing professional Tiger Woods.

Searches for American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn and the incorrectly spelt version of her name "Lindsay Vonn" are sitting in the sixth and fifth places on Google Insights. The 2010 Winter Olympics Gold medal winner has been receiving press for her win as well as her jokes about Tiger Woods' sex affairs.

The search terms with the most significant growth worldwide in the last seven days as measured by Google Insights, recorded on February 22 at 9:30 AM GMT are:
