Apple's recently released mobile computing device is the most talked about topic on Twitter on the morning of January 29 at 9:30 AM GMT.

Apple's new tablet device has divided the internet into two camps since its release. The device is, on one hand, being hailed as the next revolution in mobile technology and, on the other, slandered as being nothing more than an over-sized iPod Touch.

Technology blogs are voicing strong opinions about the iPad, most of which are being echoed in the Twittersphere. As is to be expected on Twitter, the social network is also full of jokes about the name of the tablet, iPad.

Some of the iPad jokes being spread across the web include, "I made a promise to myself not to make a joke about the new Apple ipad....period" and "The iPad sounds like a robotic tampon."

The hashtag "BestSexSongs" is getting its 15 minutes of fame on Twitter on the morning of January 29 as people share the names of their favorite songs to listen to while having sex. Songs by Marvin Gaye and Usher got several mentions.

The term "Mars" has entered into Twitter's trending topics on January 29. Sky-watchers are preparing to view the planet during the night of January 29 when it will shine more brightly than on any other night of the year.
