Current Twitter trends: "now playing," "not cute," "UK snow"

It's another day in the Twittersphere, and the term "now playing (#nowplaying)" remains the top trending topic, on January 5.
Twitterers generally use the term #nowplaying to share their favorite tracks, but some microbloggers also mention the movies they are watching or the video games they are playing. One microblogger, in a goodnight message to her followers, let them know she woud soon be "nowplaying" her dreams.
The term "not cute (#notcute)" has stormed into second place, providing microbloggers with a meme that helps them express their aesthetic preferences, or lash out on failed attempts at being trendy or elegant:"ladies if your belly ring has a goatee #notcute," is a typical example of how the new term is used.
It's been snowing in the UK, and tweets about the weather have propelled the term "UK snow (#uksnow)" into third place.
The term "OMG facts (#omgfacts)" has become a classic on Twitter, enabling users to unleash their inner geek with random drops of knowledge and things that might impress or astonish, such as "#omgfacts Horses can't puke :O" or to venture a pun: "#omgfacts A lion would never cheat on his wife but a Tiger Wood !"
