Current Twitter trends: 'now playing,' 'three words for you,' Space Jams

The music is turned up loud on the morning of December 23 and Twitter users are eager to share the names of the tracks or artists they are currently listening to with the rest of the world.
"#nowplaying" has risen to the top spot in Twitter's trending topics as users share their musical taste with their followers.
Wednesday's Twitter game goes by the name of "#threewordsforyou (three words for you)." Tweets containing the meme #threewordsforyou are coming pouring out of the micro-blogging site as tweeters try and express themselves even more succinctly than normal.
"I love Christmas," "Caucasians love meatloaf," "rainbow apple pony" and "never ending sentences" are just some of the things people are tweeting about in three words.
The new Air Jordan XI Space Jams sneakers made by Nike are are a hotly discussed product on Twitter. The long-awaited release of the shoes took place on December 23.
"According to Twitter, the Jordan #spacejams are more popular than Santa and Christmas..." mused one social networker.
