TV series and movies are hot topics of conversation in the microblogs on the morning of July 19.

The number one trending topic on Twitter at 9:30 AM GMT is the name of "Jason Stackhouse," a character from the The Southern Vampire Mysteries/Sookie Stackhouse books and the related American TV series True Blood.

Science fiction-thriller Inception has been pushed out of the top position over the weekend and is now trending in second place.

In third, fourth and fifth place are the memes "#youlookprettystupid," "#moviesthatnevergetold," and "#yeahyousexybut."

A commonly used abbreviation for "clear," "CLR" has moved up the charts four places to number six and is now just ahead of the name of American-Australian actor "Mel Gibson."

"Just watched Despicable Me! Hands down an awesome movie!", "so...I've seen Despicable Me twice...and I loved it. both times" and "Despicable Me was fantabulous! Slightly edgy dark humor and all. Oh and I wanna adopt a minion now," say Twitter users after watching the newly released animated feature film Despicable Me.

Animated comedy TV series "Boondocks" is in ninth place while the name of South Korean boy band "SHINee" is trending in tenth place following the release of their second full-length album, Lucifer, on July 19.
