AT LEAST the editor of Vogue didn't use advertising- speak to defend her pictures of Kate Moss in her skimpies. Get this from advertising agency da Costa and Co Ltd and its client Ajax on its latest campaign, featuring semi-naked males in the kitchen. The campaign is 'a re-evaluation of our advertising strategy to reflect the changing role of men and women in society.' A flimsy excuse for shameless exploitation of a young model. I wonder what the chairman of Ajax would have said if it were his son. Still, all that scrubbing has done wonders for his muscles.
