POOR Samir Shah seems doomed to unpopularity at the BBC. As head of weekly and special TV programmes he fell foul of the old Panorama bigwigs who thought he interfered too much. Now, as head of political programmes, he is being criticised for alleged self-indulgence. Deep throats tell me he has moved into an office formerly occupied by four people, who have been forced to squeeze into his old one.
