Analysis of the UK's fastest-rising search terms over the last three months has been revealed by Google, showing the news and points of interest that have attracted most attention in the country.

Amy Winehouse is the most searched term following the singer's sudden death, while singer Ed Sheeran and Wimbledon were also heavily researched.

Searches for Google's own social networking site Google+ and Ryan Dunn, part of stunt group Jackass, who died in a car crash in June, make up the top five searches.

The results were released today and show a rise in searches for "Euromillions results" and searches related to Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs and Harry Potter.
