MEPs vote to keep travel benefits

MEPS YESTERDAY voted against reforming their travel allowances, adopting instead a system which still allows scope for personal savings each time they travel. At present, MEPs can claim the cost of full-fare air tickets when they have bought the cheapest available seats.
