Mink freed from Swedish fur farm

ABOUT 5,700 mink have been set free from a fur farm in western Sweden, police said yesterday. The release, from the farm near Vaenersborg, some 220 miles west of Stockholm, was discovered after a motorist reported a large number of dead mink on a nearby road. - AP
