BBC radio presenter John Humphrys chased a burglar from his London home after waking up to find him in his bedroom.
Mr Humphrys, who came in for an unprecedented attack from Tories this week over his direct style and alleged bias on the Today programme, said he scared the intruder by "shouting something extremely rude as I leapt out of bed naked, and then I chased him".
