Hilda Brabban obituary - a clarification

We have been asked by the Estate of Freda Lingstrom to make clear that the characters of Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men were the original creation of Freda Lingstrom and that, while Hilda Brabban [obituary, 30 September] sold three stories about characters called Bill and Ben to BBC Radio in 1951, these bore no resemblance to Freda Lingstrom's later Flowerpot Men.
