May I make one correction to Tom Vallance's obituary of the actress Sally Gray [3 October]? writes Gerald Gliddon.

John Gidden was not in fact her agent, or that of Vivien Leigh for that matter, but my father John Gliddon. I never met Sally Gray but my father's secretary did give me her autograph.
