Palace raises pounds 3m

Buckingham Palace raised pounds 3m for the restoration of fire-damaged Windsor Castle from opening its doors to the public this summer. A total of 413,000 people toured the Palace state rooms during the 56 open days, compared with 420,000 during 57 open days in 1994.
