Parliament: The House In Brief: Fish flu spreads

A "FISH flu" virus which can decimate salmon farms, has spread for the first time into British wild salmon as well being detected in six commercial farms, the Government announced yesterday.

The Scottish Executive launched an urgent review of controls against the disease after announcing that the farms affected were in the Shetland Islands, the Western Isles, and Orkney.
