Amanda Holden rushed to be by her sister Debbie's side after the latter was involved in a car accident earlier this week.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 45, learned of her sister's involvement in the crash on Thursday morning after attending Simon Cowell's birthday party the previous evening.

She travelled to Cornwall from London to be with Debbie, 44, with whom she is close.

A spokesman for Holden said: “Debbie is through the worst and is now in a stable condition,” adding she is “expected to make a full recovery”.
