Andy Murray reveals that his wife Kim Sears has made 'sacrifices' for his career and dislikes media attention
'She doesn't like being in the newspapers, and people commenting on what she's wearing and how she looks, and those sorts of things,' Murray said

Andy Murray has revealed that his wife, Kim Sears, dislikes the attention she gets in the media for her appearance, and praised the "sacrifice" she has made for his career.
In an interview with the New York Times, Murray was uncharacteristically open about his relationship with his wife.
Speaking about the attention that she gets in the press, particularly during major tournaments, Murray said: "I know she doesn't like that and doesn't want that. We've never asked for that. It's not something that she courts."
"She doesn't like being in the newspapers, and people commenting on what she's wearing and how she looks, and those sorts of things."
"That's one of the things that I guess she's also sacrificed, a little bit, for our relationship, and I appreciate that a lot. But hopefully there's only a few more years left of it, and then we can get away from all of that stuff."
Despite her apparent efforts to not court public attention, Sears has become known for her fiery behaviour when watching her husband play.

Kim Sears in 'racist' outburst at the Australian Open
During the semi-final of the Australian Open this year, Sears was seen shouting "f***ing have that you Czech f***ing f***," after Murray won a game against Tomas Berdych, a Czech tennis player.
A few days later, in the final where Murray played Novak Djokovic, she wore a top with the 'parental advisory - explicit content' logo on the front, in an apparent reference to her previous outburst.
In the interview, Murray went on to say that his wife had a "very good sense of humour", and added "she has a bit of a temper on her as well, too."
