How on earth do you say no to Bryan Cranston?

One smart student, Stefan Montana, knew the answer to this question is always ‘you can’t’.

And so, after a chance meeting with the Breaking Bad star, he managed to rope him into recording a video message to ask a girl to prom (it’s this thing they do in America at the end of the year – a bit like a school disco, but with way more effort put into dresses and cars and stuff).

“Maddie, if you don't go to the prom with Stefan,” Cranston commands in a playfully menacing manner, “then your best course of action would be to tread lightly.”

Yes, the now infamous line he delivers at the end of the series.

He was signing autographs following his performance in Broadway play All the Way when he was approached by Montana, and willingly obliged to help him out.

“He really is the nicest guy in the world,” Montana told the New York Daily News. “It really is true. He's not really a celebrity, he's a dude. He didn't have to help me out but it was pretty amazing.”

Cranston recently revealed that he’s penning a memoir to discuss his time playing Walter White in Breaking Bad.
