Chris Hemsworth, who plays superhero god Thor as part of the Marvel universe, has admitted he had a fairly unusual job before breaking to acting.

When asked about his worst job before acting by Collider, Australian actor Hemsworth immediately replied: "Cleaning breast pumps."

"I worked for like a pharmacy that would rent out milk extractors, breast pumps, for pregnant women," he said.

"I swear to God I had a toothbrush and a spray, and I would scrub off dried milk off the machines."

Avengers: Age of Ultron co-star Chris Evans, who was convulsing with laughter next to him, said: "This is hilarious."

Hemsworth continued: "And if they didn't work, I'd have to unscrew them, replace the little thing..."

Evans finished the sentence: "And pump the breast myself!"

Hemsworth started his career on Aussie soap Home and Away. He's spoken of his wild lifestyle before settling down in Hollywood with partner Elsa Pataky.

"The fame, the parties, the women - I did that stuff back home, when I was on the show," he told GQ. "I got away with a lot more over there."

He might have mentioned fame, parties and women, but he missed out on another pretty key factor in his crazy bachelor lifestyle - cleaning breast pumps.
