Cramming every liquid and gel bottle into one of those small plastic bags at the airport is sometimes a challenge, but it seems that Chris O'Dowd's baby son failed to correctly read the guidelines while packing.

The IT Crowd star O'Dowd complained that the security at Gatwick were a little heavy-handed, frisking his three-month-old son, Art, and confiscating his bottle.

The Irish actor tweeted his irritation on Tuesday, saying:

Gatwick security specifies that: "Passengers can carry ready-to-drink cartons of formula and self prepared milk, providing it is in a baby bottle. These items do not have to be under 100ml nor carried in the transparent bag. However, the amount must be just sufficient for your trip and will be subject to separate security screening."

Alyssa Milano recently complained about what she believed were unnecessary security measures at Heathrow Airport.

The actor, who made her name in TV series Charmed, tweeted her fury after Heathrow disposed of 10oz of milk she'd expressed for her baby.
