Chrissy Teigen is rebelling against photos being digitally altered beyond recognition with some honest pictures of her own.

The Sports Illustrated model has once again bucked the trend for sharing heavily edited and filtered pictures by posting a close-up image of dimples on her leg.

Her unedited pictures come as something of an antidote to the filtered posts shared by her contemporaries which are steadily promoting unattainable standards of 'beauty'.

Teigen has been vocal about body positivity on a number of occasions and in March shared a picture of stretch marks on her thighs.

“I was actually just taking a picture of the bruises and then I saw the stretch marks in there,” she said at the time. “I have those apps, the Facetune and Photoshopping ones, and I just didn't feel like doing it anymore—and I'm never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now.”
