Church appointments

The following appointments have been announced by the Church of England:

The Rev George Biggs, Team Vicar, Tottom Team Ministry: to be Vicar, East with West Wellow (Winchester).

The Rev Richard Chown, retired: to be a non-stipendiary Assistant Priest, Harpsden (Oxford).

The Rev Valerie Hicks, Parish Deacon, St Mary's, Thatcham: to be Minister in charge, St Peter's, Quarrendon Aylesbury Team Ministry (Oxford).

Canon John Holmes, Vicar, St James, Manston, Leeds (Ripon): to be Diocesan Missioner, same diocese.

The Rev Brian Kelly, Assistant Curate (NSM), Redland Parish Church (Bristol): to be Assistant Curate, Scarborough, St Mary with Christ Church and The Holy Apostles (York).

The Rev David Lawson, Anglican Chaplain to the Coventry city Hospitals (excluding Walsgrave), and Priest-in-charge, St James, Whitley, Coventry: to be Vicar, St John the Baptist, South Leamington (Coventry).
