24 August: Mrs Robert de Pass has succeeded the Lady Susan Hussey as Lady-in-Waiting to The Queen.

Buckingham Palace

The State Apartments at Buckingham Palace open between 9.30am and 4.30pm. The Queen's Gallery opens between 10am and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm. The Royal Mews opens between 12pm and 4pm, and last admission is at 3.30pm.

Changing of the Guard

The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.

Windsor Castle

The Precincts and State Apartments at Windsor Castle open between 10am and 6pm. Bands playing in the Royal Parks

St James's Park, Fairfield Concert Band, 12.30pm- 2pm, 5.30pm-7pm; Regent's Park (Queen Mary's Rose Garden), Burgos Ensemble, 12.30pm-2pm.
