18 June: The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Life Member, Marylebone Cricket Club, today attended the Test Match between England and New Zealand at Lord's Ground, London NW8.
KENSINGTON PALACE
18 June: The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon today visited Ayrshire and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Ayrshire and Arran (Major Richard Henderson).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon reopened the restored Burns Cottage in Alloway.
The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, President, The Guide Association, later visited the Ayrshire South Guide Association Camp Site at Nether Auchendrane, and opened the County Training and Activity Centre.
Lady Aird was in attendance.
ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh give a reception at Buckingham Palace. The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children Fund, visits Langley Children's Project, Langley, Manchester; visits Bolton Young People's Advice and Support Service, Bolton, Lancashire; and visits the Save the Children Fund Shop, Bolton. The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, accompanied by The Duchess of Kent, attends the opening day of the Wimbledon Championships, London SW19. Prince Michael of Kent attends an evening reception at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen's Gallery opens between 10am and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; F Company Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
Windsor Castle
The Precincts and State Apartments at Windsor Castle open between 10am and 6pm.
