BUCKINGHAM PALACE

25 August: The Princess Royal this morning visited Dunblane Cathedral and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Stirling and Falkirk (Lieutenant-Colonel James Stirling of Garden).

Her Royal Highness, Visitor, Strathcarron Hospice, afterwards opened the new ward block at Randolph Hill, Denny, Stirlingshire.

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened the new building of the Perth Royal Infimary Development, Jeanfield Road, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Perth and Kinross (Major Sir David Butter).

Her Royal Highness, President, Save the Children Fund, later visited the Save the Children Shop, 12 Kinnoull Street, Perth.

ST JAMES'S PALACE

25 August: The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, this morning received the Secretary of the Duchy of Cornwall (Mr John James).
