BUCKINGHAM PALACE

2 August: Mr George Bushell had the honour of being received by The Queen at Sandringham House this morning, when Her Majesty decorated him with the Royal Victorian Medal (Gold).

By Command of The Queen, the Viscount Goschen, Lord-in- Waiting, was present at Gatwick Airport, London, this morning upon the departure of the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda and Lady Jacobs, and bade farewell to Their Excellencies on behalf of Her Majesty.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts The Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Irish Guards mounts The Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Irish Guards.

Bands playing in the Royal Parks

St James's Park, 12.30pm-2pm, 5.30pm-7pm, Thames Wind Orchestra.
