David Cameron 'must not love his children' because he allows homosexuality in the UK, Ugandan Minister of Ethics and Integrity claims

He went on to claim that homosexuality was "not African" and that no word for being gay existed in Uganda until recently because it is a "foreign behaviour"

Simon Lokodo, who holds the prestigious title of Minister of Ethics and Integrity in Uganda, has believes that David Cameron doesn’t love his children, because he allows same-sex relationships to be legal in Britain.

The African politician, who supported the country’s controversial Anti-Homosexuality Act, said that he was “sympathetic” to the Prime Minister and US President Barack Obama, because “they are obviously not responsible” for the existence of homosexuality.

“They are both heterosexuals and have children,” he told GQ magazine.

“The must not love their children, otherwise why would they let their children grow up in such a society?

“They are not responsible parents. They can not love their children enough.”

He went on to claim that homosexuality was “not African” and that no word for being gay existed in Uganda until recently.

“This is foreign behaviour,” he said.

The Prime Minister recently voiced his support for same-sex marriage.

“I believe in traditional and modern values, I believe in the family, I believe in marriage,” he told Newsnight presenter Evan Davis.

“I think it’s such a great institution, I think men should be able to marry each other and women should be able to marry each other.”

Uganda’s proposed anti-gay law, which would have seen long jail terms and harsh penalties imposed on those found “guilty” of homosexuality, was declared “null and void” by constitutional court in August.

However, being gay is still technically illegal in the East African country.

President Yoweri Museveni told CNN after the ruling as he watched activists cheering outside the courthouse: “They're disgusting. What sort of people are they? I never knew what they were doing. I've been told recently that what they do is terrible. Disgusting.”
