Janet Jackson postpones world tour a second time to ‘plan a family’
Jackson said she was under 'doctor's orders' to rest

Janet Jackson has announced she is delaying her tour because she and her husband are planning a family.
The “All For You” singer has already performed several dates of her Unbreakable world tour in North America and was due to perform further shows in Europe this month.
In a video message to her 3.3 million followers on Twitter, Jackson revealed she would be postponing this second leg.
“My husband and I are planning our family so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she said. “[…] Please if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now, I have to rest up, doctor’s orders.”
The 49-year-old thanked her dancers, crew and fans before saying she hopes to continue the tour “as soon as I possibly can”.
The singer has postponed a number of tour dates over the past year. In December she announced she would be postponing performances to undergo a surgical procedure. No additional information was given on what the procedure was but she was later forced to deny she had throat cancer after rumours began to circulate online.
Jackson married 41-year-old retail business magnate Wissam Al Mana in 2012. The couple do not currently have any children.
