She proved that she's as gracious as he was embarrassed.

Even after John Travolta's excruciatingly funny mispronunciation of Idina Menzel's name last year, Frozen singer Menzel agreed to co-host an Oscar with him.

But gaffe-prone Travolta wasn't going to let 2015 be an entirely cringe-free affair.

At 2014's ceremony, Travolta introduced the singer as "the wickedly talented Adele Dazeem". But this year he did at least get her name right.

Before presenting the award for Best Original Song, Menzel got her own back, saying: "Please welcome to the stage my very dear friend, Glom Gazingo."

Coming onto the stage, Travolta said: "I deserved that." He then added while grabbing her chin: "My darling, my beautiful, my wickedly talented Idina Menzel."

She applauded him for finally getting it right, and made no mention of the fact that he wouldn't let go of her neck.

After 2014's appallingly funny mispronunciation, Travolta issued a statement, in which he described the Broadway star as "incredibly talented".

"I've been beating myself up all day. Then I thought, 'What would Idina Menzel say?' She'd say, 'Let it go, let it go!

"Idina is incredibly talented," he continued. "And I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night."
