So, Kanye West has made it into the headlines again for something he wrote on Twitter.

The latest tweet being a particularly outrageous rebuttal of allegations by Amber Rose about the former couples’ sex life.

If that tweet proves anything it’s that when it comes to Twitter, West is, ah, unpredictable.

The tweets following on from Wednesday night’s Twitter feud with Wiz Khalifa, which saw the internet spin into a frenzy, are only the latest in a catalogue of bizarre, comical and brilliant meanderings, self-proclamations, spats, apologies and meltdowns which West has provided since joining the social networking site on that fateful day in July 2010.

West sadly deleted his entire backlog of tweets in 2013 shortly before his album Yeezus was released. Luckily, a number of people were on hand to capture the greats.

Here’s a guide of the rapper come fashion designer’s most notable Twitter moments.

SELF-PRAISE

West being West, we may as well start with the self-praise and almighty comparisons. It’s no surprise that the artist who chose the iconic Glastonbury pyramid stage to title himself “the greatest living rock star on the planet” chooses Twitter to tell his 18million followers similar sentiments.

WORK ETHIC

West revealed an insight into his work pattern when he revealed his disdain for any colleague who wouldn’t be prepared to have a phone call at 3am.

He also noted the importance of being undistracted when he’s in the zone.

Oh and when West does business, it means business – marble conference tables and all.

ADMIRATION FOR KIM KARDASHIAN

Kardashian owns the title of being the only Twitter account West follows and she is often the subject of much public adoration from her doting husband.

SPATS

It’s only right this section includes some from the most recent Wiz Khalifa spat, namely when West found time to praise Khalifa's choice of trousers before slipping a “kimoji” into another tweet.

Before Khalifa it was US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel who found himself on the receiving end of a West rant in September 2013 after the host parodied an interview between West and Zane Lowe.

MELTDOWNS

The ordinarily cool West became every Millennial parent when he embarked on a rant after his toddler, North, worked up a bill buying in-app purchases while playing on her parents gadgets.

He’s also expressed the pressures of unwanted responsibility:

APOLOGIES

In an ultimate case of déjà vu, West jokingly stormed the stage to crash Beck’s Grammy acceptance speech when he believed Beyonce should have won. However he then revealed he really did think Beyonce should have won so apologised to Beck.

He also chose this moment to issue a dated apology to Bruno Mars.

PRAISINGS

Despite West’s ego, he does give credit where credit’s due whether it be to director Robert Zemekis, Pharell or Kendrick Lamar.

MEANDERINGS

West isn’t one for holding back from sharing passing thoughts on Twitter. For example, when he announced the new title of his much-anticipated album to be Swish, before recently proclaiming it to be Waves. However any fans who are confused or disappointed by this shouldn’t be as West warned this might happen back in May, 2015

Other tweets are notably deeper:

PREACHING/ WORLDLY ADVICE

Finally, West sometimes offers his own worldly wisdom to followers.
