Kim Kardashian West, a self-confessed avid reader of the Daily Mail, has criticised the British publication’s website for a headline suggesting she has been on a “self-imposed diet exile”.

The reality-television star has not been photographed as often as usual after giving birth to her second child, son Saint, in early December. This is most probably because she is caring for a newborn baby and doing what most recent mothers do – taking some well-earned maternity leave.

So when the Daily Mail posted photos of Kardashian stepping onto a plane at a Los Angeles airport under a headline reportedly suggesting she was “emerging” from a “self-imposed diet exile”, it did not sit well with Kardashian.

The 35-year-old told the website she had actually just been enjoying time with her “babies and family” and enjoying resting from her many career ventures.

Kardashian's power and influence was demonstrated after they apparently changed their headline, which she thanked them for before proclaiming her love for the website on which she and members of her family so often feature. The headline now reads: 'I've so enjoyed my time at home': Kim Kardashian emerges from maternity leave to take North and Saint to New York to support Kanye West."

Meanwhile, Kardashian’s husband Kanye West was on a rant of his own, where among apologies to Michael Jordan and criticism of Puma, he declared Bill Cosby “innocent” thus provoking a huge backlash.
