Kirk Cameron: Growing Pains actor urges married women to ‘follow your husband’s lead’
The Conservative Christian claims marriages can always be saved - regardless of how one spouse is treating another

Women of the world, relax - Kirk Cameron thinks he’s found your greater purpose.
Apparently, once married, your job is pretty simple - honour and follow your husband’s lead.
The former child actor best known for his role as in the 80s sitcom Growing Pains has shared some depressingly archaic advice with the Christian Post earlier this month for his “Love Worth Fighting For” marriage tour.
Cameron, who is married to his Growing Pains co-star Chelsea Noble, explained that many people did not realise marriage “comes with instructions”.
“When each person gets their part right, regardless of how their spouse is treating them, there is hope for real change in their marriage, “ he added. “A lot of people don’t know that marriage comes with instructions. And, we find them right there in God’s word [in the Bible].”
Cameron, a devout Evangelical Christian, has expressed controversial views on marriage in the past. In 2012 he described his disapproval of gay relationships, calling them “unnatural” and “ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilisation”.
