Kylie and Kendall Jenner 'launch petitions to trademark names'
The Keeping up with the Kardashian sisters have reportedly launched applications for 'entertainment purposes'

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have reportedly launched petitions to trademark their names.
The youngest Keeping up with the Kardashians star Kylie filed an application to trade mark her first name in April to "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture,” according to TMZ.
If her reported application is successful, the 17-year-old would be granted exclusive rights to create a logo with her name in it, despite sharing her moniker with pop star Kylie Minogue (who already owns the website domain kylie.com).
TMZ reports that her sister Kendall, 19, has also filed an application to trademark her name for the same purposes.
The sisters are part of a family who have built an empire on the Kardashian brand, managed by matriarch Kris Jenner, which has an estimated net worth of $80 million.
Kylie and Kendall grew up on the reality TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians and have since forayed into acting, modelling and most recently fashion after signing a deal to produce a collection for Topshop.
Kylie has over 22 million followers on Instagram, eclipsed only by Kendall’s 25m strong following.
The Independent has contacted the sisters' publicist for comment.
