The 1993 'Popular Lectures', organised by the London Mathematical Society, will be given by Professor SA Robertson on 'How to See Objects in Four Dimensions' and Professor R. McNeill Alexander on 'Optimization of Running and Jumping'. They will be held at three venues this year: Edinburgh, 24 June; Leeds, 25 June; London, 2 July. Admission is free, with ticket in advance.
