Michelle Obama, America's First Lady (alias MC FLOTUS), has taken to the medium of rap for her latest campaign.

In a video produced by College Humor, Mrs Obama can be seen encouraging college attendance with the help of some autotune and pretty high production values.

Like any rapper's bildungsroman, MC FLOTUS retells her life's journey from its origins in Chicago to her current zenith before telling kids "That could be you."

The aim of the video is made evident in the song's lyrics, as Saturday Night Live's Jay Pharoah sings alongside Mrs Obama: "If you wanna fly jets you should go to college, reach high and cash cheques, fill your head with knowledge."

The first lady has already made her mark in the rap game, from promoting healthy foods in 2013 to appearing in a Doug E. Fresh video.

Her next installment is eagerly anticipated, although rumours of MC SamCam's involvement remain unfounded.
