Andy Murray will not be getting married to Kim Sears after Wimbledon, doesn’t smoke weed, and doesn’t want to kill Rafael Nadal
The sportsman ‘hilariously’ quipped that he was set to wed his girlfriend after Wimbledon during a Q&A on Twitter last night

In that order, apparently.
It seems the lustrous-locked Kim Sears will be kept waiting even longer to take a turn down the aisle with tennis ace Andy Murray.
The sportsman ‘hilariously’ quipped that he was set to wed his girlfriend after Wimbledon during a Q&A on Twitter last night, before retracting his statement just hours later.
"We're getting married just after Wimbledon, should be a great day," he posted.
However, in a dramatic U-turn, he admitted he wasn’t serious about the commitment – and also confirmed he didn’t really feel violent towards court rival Rafael Nadal, either:
A spokesperson for the star since confirmed to The Independent: "Andy has no plans to get married after Wimbledon. It was a tongue in cheek answer (one of many) to a question that he answered during an impromptu twitter Q and A.
"He has since tweeted to clear up any confusion."
It’s not the first time Murray’s been quizzed over his relationship status. He was left reeling during a separate Twitter Q&A earlier this month when former professional tennis player Darren Cahill asked about a wedding date.
"Don't start!" he replied, before continuing the interview.
He also came under pressure to propose to Sears after his 2013 Wimbledon win, which marked the second Grand Slam title of his career.
"I can see myself having a family one day," he said during an interview with the Scottish Daily Mail in December. "It is something that I’m starting to think about because Kim and I have been together for eight years."
