Anne Hathaway is "dying" to have children.

The 'Love and Other Drugs' actress - who has been in a relationship with actor Adam Schulman for two years - wants to start a family, but admits she is not ready to settle down just yet.

She is quoted by the Daily Express newspaper as saying: "I'm dying to be a mum. I'm not ready for it yet but it's one of the joys of life that I'm looking forward to so very much."

While Anne, 28, isn't ready have children yet, she and Adam recently took their relationship to the next level by moving in together.

A source said in December: "She's moved into his Brooklyn pad. They've been together for a long time, so she's confident about moving in with him."

Anne started dating Adam shortly after splitting from Raffaello Follieri - who was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison in 2008 after pleading guilty to cheating investors out of millions of dollars - but the brunette beauty recently insisted it never put her off the idea of finding love again.

She said: "I think the thing that I have learnt is that a bad love experience is no reason to fear a new love experience. Everybody has bad relationships and, at the end of the day, they are just a great way to set yourself up for a good relationship."
