Actress Kristen Stewart has made her first public appearance in nearly two months at the Toronto Film Festival.
The 22-year-old star of the Twilight series went into lockdown mode after admitting that she had an affair with the married director of her last film, Snow White and the Huntsman.
Hundreds of fans eagerly awaited her return as she walked the red carpet for her latest film, On the Road, based on the Jack Kerouac novel. Stewart posed for photographers, spoke to television crews and signed autographs for fans.
In July, Stewart apologised for her affair with 41-year-old director Rupert Sanders. The announcement put her romantic relationship with Twilight star Robert Pattinson on hold.
When asked how she was doing, Stewart responded: "I'm doing fine."
