Anthony Salerno ('Fat Tony'), died Springfield Missouri 29 July, aged 80. Jailed for 105 years for racketeering as the Mafia boss of the Genovese 'family' in 1986. Fortune magazine described him as the US's wealthiest, most powerful and influential gangster.
