Arthur Brown, administrator, died Kingston Jamaica 2 March, aged 69. Jamaica's first native- born governor of the Central Bank, he worked in the government planning institute and the finance ministry before taking over the bank in the Seventies. First chairman of Air Jamaica. Most recently chairman of the Commonwealth group on global change and economic development.
