Curt Martin Riess, writer and journalist, died Scheuren bei Forch, Switzerland 19 May, aged 90. Left Nazi Germany to work for Paris-Soir as a foreign correspondent. A prolific writer, he was the author of over 100 books including biographies of Goebbels and Jackie Onassis, and an expose of the Nazi spy system, Total Espionage (1941). Contributed numerous articles to German, Swiss, US and French publications.
