Duncan Browne, composer, died 28 May, aged 46. His first album Give Me Take You (1967) was a cult hit in Britain and the US. The title song of his album Journey (1971) reached the top 10. Formed the band Metro and produced solo albums in 1978 and 1979. Since 1981 had composed principally for theatre, television and film.
