Obituary: Harry Irving
Harry Irving, chemist, died Cape Town 20 June, aged 87. Pioneer in investigations into the application of organic reagents to inorganic analysis. Professor of Inorganic and Structural Chemistry at Leeds University 1961- 71, and in 1978 became the first professor of analytical science at the University of Cape Town.
