Obituary: Janusz Sidlo
Janusz Sidlo, javelin thrower, died 2 August, aged 60. A Polish world javelin record holder and Olympic silver medallist, he took part in five Olympics from 1952 to 1968, winning his silver in Melbourne in 1956. He was European champion in 1954 and 1958.
